Flickr© Hints

Here are some hints for using Flickr©

If you move your mouse while watching a slideshow a menu is displayed.

At the bottom of the menu you will see thumbnails of the slides, here you can pause the show,
change direction or select a slide to display.

In the upper right corner are the buttons for options like changing speed or size.

Clicking in the upper left corner will take you to the "Photostream" page on Flickr© .
From this point you can select other slideshows to watch, select slides by "Tags", download
copies of the slide, or if you have a Flickr© userid, submit the picture to a site like Walgreens
        for printing.

There are two ways to get a copy of a slide to your computer.
The first is to "right-click" on the picture and select "copy" or "copy to clipboard."
This will get you a low-resolution copy that will probably be good enough for most uses.
The second way is to go to the "picture page", above the picture on the left side you will see
a small "all sizes", click on this and you can select the size (resolution) you want and download.
You can use this method to get a high-resolution copy suitable for enlarging or printing.

The help and FAQ areas of Flickr© will give you more instructions on how to search using tags
      and other features.

Basic Flickr© accounts are free and easy to setup. Just click on the "sign-up" and follow the instructions.
